Reframing disability employment as an economic opportunity
SECTOR: Disability employment | Government contracting | Policy and workforce engagement
At a time of historically low unemployment and ongoing skills shortages, people with disability continued to be underrepresented in the workforce. Infodec Communications identified an opportunity to reframe disability employment as an economic and workforce issue, rather than solely a social or compliance consideration.
Following a client brief, we conceived and developed a Smart Paper examining the economic contribution and business benefits of inclusive employment, translating policy and workforce data into practical insights for government, business and industry audiences. The paper was designed to be timely, relevant and credible, supporting external engagement and positioning the organisation as a thought leader in this space.

Resilience, Capacity Building and Grant Readiness Workshop
SECTOR: Local Government | Not for profit
Infodec Communications worked with Sutherland Shire Council to co-design and deliver a practical, outcomes-driven workshop aimed at strengthening funding capability and organisational resilience across the local not for profit sector.
The hands-on session moved beyond traditional grant-writing training, equipping participants with transferable tools, early planning frameworks and confidence to pursue a broader range of funding opportunities. Post-workshop evaluation showed a significant uplift in confidence, readiness and understanding of how to position projects for funding and partnership success.

Strengthening community transport through profile, partnerships and funding readiness
SECTOR – COMMUNITY TRANSPORT | AGED CARE | DISABILITY | GOVERNMENT FUNDED NFPs
Infodec Communications worked with Activus Transport to raise the organisation’s profile, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support funding readiness in a complex government-funded environment. Through a phased, research-led communications strategy, the project improved visibility, partnership opportunities and long-term organisational resilience across the aged care and disability sectors.
